Eng. Prof. Mumenya has been a supervisor and external examiner for several PhD and MSc students from different academic institutions. She has been the main author, as well as a co-author of scholarly books; articles in peer-reviewed journals; refereed learning modules; reviewed conference papers; University approved consultancies; refereed exhibitions, and policy documents.
Eng. Prof. Mumenya has been a mentor to several female engineering students and graduates, and has been instrumental in overseeing the significant increase in female students taking up careers in engineering and science nationally and internationally.
