Tom ODHIAMBO

I teach literature, performing arts and communication in the Department of Literature, and Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Nairobi. I graduated with a BEd degree from Moi University (1998), and a MA (2000) and PhD (2004) in African Literature from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. 

I am an amateur journalist who has written for various Kenyan and African newspapers and magazines since the year 2000. I currently write for the Nation Media Group on arts, culture and literature.
