    Dr. Peter Kyalo Mulwa is a Lecturer in the Department of Educational Communication, Technology & Pedagogical Studies (DECTS), Faculty of Education, University of Nairobi. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D.) in Education (Educational Technology) and M.Sc. (Information Systems) from University of Nairobi (UoN) and, Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Kenyatta University (KU). He is also a holder of various certifications in Information Technology (IT). He has more than twenty (20) years’ experience in teacher training and professional development; curriculum design and development at college, university and national levels; ICT management at University level; development and implementation of information systems; ICT technical support; project monitoring and evaluation; research design, data collection, analysis and reporting using appropriate technologies. He has specialized skills in pedagogical innovations, information systems design and development, database design and administration, computer networks design and management, design thinking and innovation computer programming, web design, management skills alongside important life skills. His research interest is in pedagogy, educational technologies (EdTech), design thinking and innovation, e-learning systems, artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, and technology integration in education. He has been involved as a consultant and panelist in the team that developed the curriculum designs for Computer Science and ICT Learning Areas for Junior school, senior school, Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE) and Diploma in Secondary Education (DSTE), all at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD). He has been involved in reviewing ICT, Subject Methods and Educational Technology Courses offered under Bachelor of Education programmes offered at the University of Nairobi, to align them to the new Kenya’s Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) dispensation.
