Rich Mulwa holds a Ph.D. from the Justus-Liebig University at Giessen, Germany. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Advanced Studies in Environmental Law and Policy (CASELAP), University of Nairobi, where he teaches Economics of environmental governance, Resource Economics, Environmental Valuation and Political Economy of Natural Resources Management to post graduate (Masters and Ph.D.) students. His areas of research interest include environmental and ecological economics, resource economics, dynamic optimization, use of non-parametric  frontier methods in solving environmental problems, and climate change. He has been involved in several projects and consultancies with different organizations such as the CGIAR group, FAO, ASARECA, and RUFORUM, and has published in different journals. He is also a referee is several reputable journals. Rich Mulwa is married with two kids (Jesse and Steff).
