Peter Obimbo Lamuka obtained his BSc in Food Science and Technology at University of Nairobi, Kenya, in 1981 and MSc in Food Science at Alabama A&M University, USA, in 1990. He has worked as a Lecturer in Dairy Microbiology and Hygiene at Dairy Training Institute, Naivasha, Kenya; Research Officer in legume and Soil Microbiology at Kenya Agricultural Research Institute, Kitale, Kenya; as a Lecturer in Food Microbiology and Hygiene and Food Biotechnology and Fermentation at Egerton University, Njoro, Kenya.
