Mr. Mulwa Peter Kyalo is a Lecturer in the Department of Educational Communication, Technology & Pedagogical Studies, Faculty of Education, University of Nairobi. He previously served as a Tutorial Fellow in the same department between July 2015 to November 2018. Before joining the academic line, he had previously (Between July 2012 and June 20 (DECTPS) 15), served  as a Chief ICT Officer at the ICT Centre stationed at the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences (CAVS) as the ICT Officer in Charge responsible for managing and coordinating the ICT functions and activities in the college on behalf of the Director, ICT Centre, University of Nairobi. He holds MSc (Information Systems), University of Nairobi, BSc (AT), Kenyatta University and Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), Kenyatta University, specializing in Computer Studies and Physics teaching methods. He is also a holder of Diploma in Information Technology and various certificates in the same field. He is an alumnus of University of Nairobi (2011), Kenyatta University (2003 & 2007), Matinyani Boys Secondary School (1997) and Ngiluni Primary School (1993) both in Kitui County. He has more than ten (10) years’ experience in teaching, ICT management, development and implementation of information systems and IT technical support. He has specialized skills in project management, Information systems design and development, database design and administration,computer networks design and management, computer programming, website design, management skills alongside other life skills. His research interest is in Educational Technologies & Innovations, e-Learning Systems and Knowledge Management Systems.

Mr. Mulwa P. K. is a self motivated individual of reputable personality and  high interpersonal skills. He also serves as part-time lecturer in Educational Courses, Computer Science, Information Technology and ICT related areas in various departments in local Universities including but not limited to University of Nairobi, Multimedia University of Kenya, South Eastern Kenya University and Technical University of Kenya. He previously served as a Lecturer in the former Kenya Science Teacher College (KSTC), now the current Kenya Science Campus of the College of Education and External Studies, University of Nairobi between 2006 and 2009, where he trained diploma teachers on computer science, ICT literacy courses and computer studies teaching methods. Before joining KSTC, he had served as a physics and computer studies teacher at Mbitini Girls’ Secondary School in Kitui County between February 2004 and June 2006.
