Michael B. Papah graduated with Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (2009) and MSc. in Veterinary Anatomy and Cell Biology (2012) degrees from the University of Nairobi. He is a faculty member at the Department of Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology, University of Nairobi. Michael is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Delaware, USA, under the Arthur Perdue Graduate Fellowship program. His research interests center on Cellular and Molecular studies of degenerative diseases in poultry, Reproductive Biology with a special focus on teleosts, and Morphological and Physiological adaptations of fish living in extreme environments.
