I have been a lecturer in the University of Nairobi throughout my working life and I have taught most of the Veterinary doctors/surgeons  in Kenya  and I have risen through the academic ranks:

  1. Professor :                     1991 to present.
  2. Associate  Professor:  1986—1991.
  3. Senior Lecturer:            1983—1986.
  4. Lecturer:                         1971—1983.

RESPONSIBILITIES.

  1. Chairman, Dept. of Veterinary Anatomy. 1982—1988.
  2. Principal,  College of Agriculture & veterinary Sciences (CAVS).   1988—1994.
  3. Chairman, Board of Kenya Veterinary Vaccine Production Institute(KEVEVAPI). 1990-2000.
  4. Member, Board of The National Museums of Kenya. 1984—1989.
  5. Member, Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI ) Scholarships Award Committee. 1988-1993.
  6. Member, KARI Research Fund Management Committee.1991—2000.
