I have been a lecturer in the University of Nairobi throughout my working life and I have taught most of the Veterinary doctors/surgeons in Kenya and I have risen through the academic ranks:
- Professor : 1991 to present.
- Associate Professor: 1986—1991.
- Senior Lecturer: 1983—1986.
- Lecturer: 1971—1983.
RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Chairman, Dept. of Veterinary Anatomy. 1982—1988.
- Principal, College of Agriculture & veterinary Sciences (CAVS). 1988—1994.
- Chairman, Board of Kenya Veterinary Vaccine Production Institute(KEVEVAPI). 1990-2000.
- Member, Board of The National Museums of Kenya. 1984—1989.
- Member, Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI ) Scholarships Award Committee. 1988-1993.
- Member, KARI Research Fund Management Committee.1991—2000.
