Alex Nduru Kuria

Mr. Kuria is a Tutorial Fellow in the Department of Public Health, Pharmacology and Toxicology. He joined the department in 2017 where he is currently involved in research, teaching and consultancies in the area of Leather Science and Technology. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Health Production and Processing from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (2013) and a Master of Science in Leather Science from University of Nairobi (2015). Currently he is enrolled for a PhD in Leather Science at the University of Nairobi and is expected to graduate next year (2022). Before being employed at the University of Nairobi, Mr. Kuria worked as a part-time lecturer at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and Dedan Kimathi University of Technology. He has 3 publications in refereed journals. . He is a registered member of Kenya Veterinary Board and Kenya Association of Leather Technologist and Scientist
