I am currently researching on how to link Islamic fiscal law to health financing in Kenya.
I am the co-founder and member of the Executive Committee of the Framework Convention on Global Health (FCGH). The FCGH is a global coalition of civil society and academics who have come together to propose a global health treaty with the central goal of reducing immense domestic and global health inequities. Already endorsed by the United Nations Secretary-General, the FCGH would reimagine global governance for health, offering a new, post-Millennium Development Goals vision for health.
I am admitted to legal practice in Kenya and I lecture at the School of Law, University of Nairobi.
