I am a Cropping Systems Agronomist, Crop Eco-physiologist and Lecturer in the Department of Plant Science and Crop protection, University of Nairobi. I hold a PhD in Agronomy (University of Adelaide, Australia), an MSc in Agronomy and BSc in Agriculture from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. My research applies plant ecophysiological principles in the adaptation of crops and cropping systems to innovative and sustainable practices, stress environments and climate change. I have vast experience in conducting feasibility studies and the design of agricultural development plans for irrigation projects.
