Peter Kimeli is both a researcher and a practising veterinarian. He graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (Nairobi) in the year 2011, Master of Science (Nairobi) in 2014 and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island, Canada in 2021. He teaches and attends to clinical duties at the University of Nairobi. His interest is more inclined towards observational and experimental studies that investigate complex epidemiological questions. He has strong analytical skills and proficiency in using STATA, MLwIN, HOBOware and Epicollect5, and moderate knowledge in using R, Python, QGIS and GeoDa. He can design statistical analysis plans, guide analyses, and provide statistical insight into the interpretation and discussion of complex epidemiological data.
