Jane Opiyo is an experienced Librarian with over 14 years in the field of information management. She is currently a Librarian in charge of the University of Nairobi’s Kisumu Campus Library. She has a demonstrated history of working in the information management sector.
Prior to joining the University of Nairobi in 2016, Jane worked as a Manager for Library Services at the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) from June to November 2016. Until her promotion, she had worked in the same institution as Librarian between 2010 to 2016.
Ms. Opiyo earned her MSc. Degree in Library and Information Sciences from Moi University, Eldoret in 2015. Her areas of expertise include Information management, Electronic information access, and information literacy, with a focal point for providing necessary information support to the public at large and keen to explore further means of cooperation by which she could contribute to the information society at large
