Dr. ROSEMARY KHITIEYI IMONJE

Dr.Rosemary Khitieyi Imonje is a full time faculty, and a senior lecturer in Curriculum studies and Education in Emergencies at the Faculty of Education, University of Nairobi,Kenya. She has a PhD in Curriculum studies from the University of Nairobi, a Master in Education Curriculum Design and Program Development; and Bachelor of Education Degree in History and Philosophy of Religious Education from Kenyatta University; a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Management from University of South Africa.

Vertex epidural haematomas (VEDH) are rare and difficulties are encountered in diagnosis and management. This is a case report of a patient with a vertex epidural haematoma who presented with signs of severe head injury with upper limb decerebrate posture. We discuss the challenges of radiological investigation and neurosurgical management of VEDH.
