Dr P. O. Okumu is a tutorial fellow of Veterinary Pathology. He has an MSc. in Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Diagnostics in 2014. He is currently undertaking his Ph.D. research in Diagnostic Pathology. His career interest is host-pathogen interactions and response of animals against pathogens, Toxicologic pathology, and gastrointestinal tract infections of bacterial origin. Apart from teaching undergraduate classes and research, he also supports the Department in diagnostic services in veterinary pathology including; large animals, small animals, poultry, and emerging food animal disease diagnosis
