PROF.ENG. DUNCAN ONYANGO MBUGE

Prof. (Eng) Duncan Onyango Mbuge the current Chairman and Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental and Bio-systems Engineering, University of Nairobi. He attended Egerton University and University of Nairobi for undergraduate and postgraduate studies respectively in Agricultural Engineering. He is registered by the Kenya Engineers Registration Board as a professional engineer and is a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya. He is currently conducting research in the optimization of evaporative cooling systems for fruit and vegetable preservation, development of hybrid solar/desiccant driers as well as processing and packaging of African leafy vegetables.
