Dr D. N Karanja Biography

Dr Karanja D Njuguna is a veterinary education specialist, a self-starter with the ability to strategically plan own work and to work independently with minimum supervision, to high professional standard. He has over 20 years’ teaching experience in Veterinary Pathology and related disciplines in University of Nairobi, Department of Veterinary Pathology, Microbiology and Parasitology. He also supports the Department in diagnostic services in veterinary pathology. He is the Veterinary Pathology thematic leader. In addition, he has participated in livestock curricula development, reviews and validation forums locally and internationally. He has been conducting research in agricultural sector and has contributed and presented papers in international and regional conferences, workshops and symposia. He has also been a resource person for University of Nairobi's Centre for Pedadogy and Andragogy (CEPA), facilitating pedagogy, andragogy and mentorship training works for University lecturers since inception in 2016.
