DR. WASONGA CAROLINE

I am a Kenyan national, Christian, female, married and currently working as a Tutorial Fellow in the Department of Biochemistry, School of Medicine, University of Nairobi. I have gained vast experience in Research, training and mentoring, having lectured in the University of Nairobi for the last eight years and conducted research at the Kenya Medical Research institute for the last 6 years, mainly working on Diagnostics, immunology and molecular biology of viruses. This research in developing a diagnostic assay for an arbovirus, led to the award of a PhD degree in Medical Virology in November 2016.
