Caroline Kathira Rukunga is a finally professed Nun from the Congregation of Nazareth Sisters of Annunciation. She is currently the Assistant Dean of Students at the University of Nairobi, School of Business and the Chairperson of Amani Counselling and Training Institute Board of Directors, based in Kenya. She obtained her MA in Counseling Psychology from Kenyatta University and her BA in Psychology at the University of Nairobi, Kenya.

She has previously worked in various educational institutions in Kenya among them Consolata Primary School in Meru County as a Headteacher, and Meru University of Science and Technology as a Student Counsellor. She is a member of Kenya Psychologists and Counselors Association (KPCA) and Kenyan Universities Psychologists and Counselors Association (KUPCA).

Caroline believes that self-awareness facilitates ones behaviour change and acquisition of new knowledge that consequently result to transformative change of the society. Guided by this principle, she is passionate in facilitating groups and individuals towards discovering who they are and their worth as a means of empowering them towards self -acceptance and appreciation of the people they share their lives with
