Caroline W. Githinji

Caroline W. Githinji is a dedicated and highly experienced administrative professional with over 25 years of progressive service at the University of Nairobi. Currently serving as an Assistant Senior Secretary (Grade C) in the Chairman’s Office, Department of Earth and Climate Sciences, she has built a distinguished career providing executive, administrative, and secretarial support across various academic and administrative units of the University.

Her extensive experience spans service in the School of Dental Sciences, College of Health Sciences, College of Biological and Physical Sciences, School of Biological Sciences, Department of Meteorology, Corporate Affairs, and the Department of Earth and Climate Sciences. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional organizational, communication, records management, and office administration skills while supporting senior university leadership and facilitating efficient office operations.

She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Leadership and Management at International Leadership University, further strengthening her leadership, management, and organizational competencies. She also holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the Association of Business Executives (ABE) through Nairobi Institute of Business Studies (NIBS), with training in Financial and Managerial Accounting, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Economics, Business Communication, Organizational Behavior, Business Law, and Quantitative Methods.

Additionally, she possesses professional qualifications in Secretarial Studies, Office Management, Business English, Commerce, Shorthand, Typewriting, and computer literate (Ms Office Suite).

Her professional interests include administrative excellence, organizational leadership, customer service, and continuous professional development. Outside the workplace, she enjoys reading motivational literature, listening to gospel music, hiking, and exploring nature.
