My name is Benson Alfred Otemba Inyangala, a holder of M.A. Leadership Studies, International Leadership University, 2012; Master of Science in Animal Production, University of Nairobi, 1990; and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons), University of Nairobi, 1985. My work experience includes lecturing for 23 years at the University of Nairobi, Department of Animal Production. The main courses taught include Population and Quantitative Genetics, Animal Genetics, Breeding and Conservation, and Animal Genetic Resources, to students pursuing B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Range Management and Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine. I also served as an Agricultural Officer, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Kiambu County, 1985-86 and was responsible for Conducting agricultural extension to farmers through training of farmers at the Farmers Training Centre and conducting farmers' Field days. I also coordinated the successful Dairy Development Project (a joint venture between the government of Kenya and the Royal Netherlands government).

I have conference organizing experience having served as secretary to the Technical sub-committee

of the All Africa Conference on Animal Agriculture held in November 23-27, 1992, Nairobi,

Kenya. A total of more than 350 delegates attended from 17 countries. I was also involved in

planning and implementation of several workshops and symposia for Animal Production Society of

Kenya in my capacity as secretary and member of the Executive committee 1990-93. I am an active

 member of the Animal Production Society of Kenya and the Agricultural Society of Kenya. I am

computer literate and fluent in English. I have consulted for ILRI and KARI and possess an

extensive research experience. In addition, I am a consultant in leadership and family life. My

hobbies include Reading, Writing, and Traveling.
