Associate Professor of Economics. My teaching work revolves around Microeconomics, Labour Economics, Public economics and Econometrics. I have been at the University of Nairobi since November, 2007 after serving at Kenyatta University. I obtained M.A. degree in Economics from the University of Botswana and PhD degree in Economics from the University of Gothenburg under fellowships from the African Economic Research Consortium. My research interests are in labour markets, human capital, productivity, poverty and inequality in developing countries.
