Angela Atieno Amayo is an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Human Pathology, University of Nairobi. She has Medical and Master of Medicine in General Pathology qualifications from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Total Quality Management from the Kenya Institute of Management. She is a Founder Fellow of the College of Pathologists East, Central and Southern Africa (FCPath ECSA). She is Chairman of Clinical Chemists Association of Kenya and former Member of Kenya Association of Clinical Pathologists Executive Board. She has vast experience as a Specialist Pathologist working in both public sector and private clinical laboratories. She has also provided Technical Assistance to strengthen public health laboratory systems, including point of care, through policy development, advocacy and capacity building of laboratory staff.
